The Workforce Development Program at Rockland Community College provides you with the opportunity to embark on a career path that requires specialized skills and knowledge. Choose from a number of options for in-demand fields like CDL (Class A truck driver), EMT, and Phlebotomy Technician, condensed into all-inclusive courses that take less than a year to finish — and many can be completed in a matter of weeks.

Another option for accelerated entry into the workforce is our microcredential program, in which you earn a certificate or skills badge after completing a series of credit-bearing courses. Microcredentials are available in an array of high-growth fields, including Hospitality Management, Interactive Design and Digital Arts, and Sports Nutrition Specialist.

Several of our programs have been awarded funding through grants, meaning your education could be free!
